There are music conservatories...and then there is the Moscow State Conservatoire. For the last 16 years, Linda Gilbert has been honing her craft at one of the world's most rigorous music schools. She is now completing her Master of Performance in Vladivostok.An international prizewinning violinist, Linda will present a program of gypsy romance featuring some of the most virtuosic music ever written for the violin.

Born in Northcote, WIlliam Murray recently returned to Australia after 17 years based in Berlin and Amsterdam. He is one of a new generation of Australian musicians playing in a wide array of musical forms throughout the world.
William oozes enthusiam for the music he plays and his instrument - a glorious composite viola made by Antonio and Hieronymous Amati of Cremona in 1620.
