Born in Northcote, WIlliam Murray recently returned to Australia after 17 years based in Berlin and Amsterdam. He is one of a new generation of Australian musicians playing in a wide array of musical forms throughout the world.
William oozes enthusiasm for the music he plays and his instrument - a glorious composite viola made by Antonio and Hieronymous Amati of Cremona in 1620.

MSO PRINCIPALS
Melbourne Symphony Orchestra principal harpist Yinuo Mu and principal oboist Johannes Grosso are each international prizewinners and have extensive experience playing with numerous international orchestras. They join forces for a performance of exquisite music showcasing their musicality and unique instruments.
